Arti Kecerdasan

Kecerdasan adalah kemampuan untuk belajar atau mengerti dari pengalaman, memahami pesan yang kontradiktif dan ambigu, menanggapi dengan cepat dan baik atas situasi yang baru, menggunakan penalaran dalam memecahkan masalah serta menyelesaikannya dengan efektif (Winston dan Pendergast, 1994).

Arti Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Merupakan kawasan penelitian, aplikasi dan instruksi yang terkait dengan pemrograman

·         komputer untuk melakukan sesuatu hal ‐ yang dalam pandangan manusia adalah cerdas (H. A. Simon [1987])

·         Sebuah studi tentang bagaimana membuat komputer melakukan hal‐hal yang pada saat ini dapat dilakukan lebih baik oleh manusia (Rich and Kinight [1991])

E-commerce

E-Commerce atau Electronic Commerce (Perniagaan Elektronik), merupakan bagian dari Electronic Business.

Secara umum E‐Commerce dapat didefinisikan sebagai segala bentuk transaksi perdagangan/perniagaan barang atau jasa secara elektronik dengan memanfaatkan jaringan komputer, salah satunya adalah Internet.

KOMUNIKASI

Komunikasi adalah suatu proses dalam mana seseorang atau beberapa orang, kelompok, organisasi, dan masyarakat menciptakan, dan menggunakan informasi agar terhubung dengan lingkungan dan orang lain (Wikipedia, Komunikasi, 2013). Komunikasi dapat dibagi menjadi dua yaitu komunikasi intraprersonal dan komunikasi interpersonal.

Telekomunikasi adalah salah satu bentuk dari komunikasi interpersonal, yaitu teknik pengiriman atau penyampaian infomasi, dari suatu tempat ke tempat lain. Dalam mengubah informasi menjadi sinyal listrik yang siap dikirim, ada dua cara pengiriman yang dipakai. Pertama adalah sinyal analog, mengubah bentuk informasi ke sinyal analog dimana sinyal berbentuk gelombang listrik yang terus menerus (continue) kemudian dikirim oleh media transmisi. Kedua adalah sinyal digital, dimana setelah informasi diubah menjadi sinyal analog kemudian diubah lagi menjadi sinyal yang terputus-putus (discrete).

Joint Working Group Indonesia-France 2013, Starting Point of Collaboration between Indonesia and Napoleon’s Homeland

 Surabaya (10-11/10). Government of Indonesia and France held Joint Working Group Indonesia-France 2013 this year. On October 10th and 11th 2013, it was the fifth.

This year, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) was selected by Directorate General of Higher Education Republic of Indonesia (DIKTI) to collaborate with L'Institut Francais d'Indonesie (IFI) and Planning Bureau of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia (BPKLN) to be the host of this event. About 59 France Institutions and 80 delegations from Indonesian Universities and 10 delegations from Indonesian vocational school participated in this event.

OS (Operating System) merupakan merupakan program yang mengatur eksekusi program dan bertindak sebagai interface antara aplikasi dan perangkat keras.

Tujuan sistem operasi untuk kemudahan, efisiesi, dan kemampuan untuk berkembang.

Modul 1: Statistics Descriptive

In the first modul we have to find a data, other person's data (Secondary Data) to make a statistics descriptive of it. We describe the data so that people who don't learn about statistics, can understand what the data gives as information.
Statistics Descriptive that we have  to find including Mean, Maximum and Minimum value, Median, and Variance.
Mean is a measure of central tendency of data that show the value that represents the data.
Maximum and Minimum value is largest and smallest values ​​of the whole data.
Median is the central point of data. So, from variety values of the data  the central point of it from maximum value to the minimum value is the median.
Variance is variation or diversity of multiple measurements of an object of observation.

All About "Modul" of PMS

Introduction to Statistical Method (Pengantar Metode Statistika) or as we commonly say PMS, is the very important subject that we have to learn to become a statistician. That's why statistics student have this subject in the very first semester. PMS taught us about the basic of statistics. All of the subjects that we are going to learn as a statistics student based on this subject so it is necessary to overcome, to master, to fully understand of PMS.
Beside learning the theory we also have a practicum about it. After we do practice, we have to make a report of it. And there are specific criteria and requirements to make the report that usually called "modul".

Demand, Supply, Equilibrium, and Elasticity

My assignment of Introduction to Economy subject is to present about Demand, Supply, Equilibrium, and Elasticity beside that, we have to make questions of it.


Demand is the amount of goods or services you want and able to be purchased by the consumer, at various price levels and at any given time.

Supply is the number of items offered by sellers in a particular market, at a certain period, and at a certain price level.

Equilibrium is a point of agreement between demand and supply. In the event of price volatility and the amount / balance is excess demand or supply in the market mechanism will push back the price equilibrium (balance can be new or original balance)

Elasticity is used to measure the extent to which the magnitude of the response or sensitivity of the dependent variable if there is a change in a particular independent variable

A. Pengertian Perangkat Lunak

Sekumpulan instruksi dan data yang tersimpan dan dijalankan oleh komputer. Komputer tidak dapat melakukan apa‐apa tanpa instruksi.

Perkembangan Perangkat Keras (Hardware)

Komponen komputer yang sifatnya bisa dilihat dan diraba oleh manusia secara langsung atau yang berbentuk nyata.

Berdasarkan fungsinya, perangkat keras dapat dibedakan menjadi 5 sebagai berikut.

Data dan Informasi

DATA

Data (datum) berarti fakta atau bahan-bahan keterangan.

Data elektronik disusun untuk diolah dalam bentuk struktur data, file, dan basis data.

INFORMASI

Informasi berarti data yang telah diolah menjadi bentuk yang dapat dipahami sebagai bahan pengambilan keputusan.

A.                DEFINISI TIK

Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) didefinisikan oleh beberapa ahli yaitu Haag dan Keen (1996), Martin (1999), serta Williams dan Sawyer (2003) yang dapat disimpulkan merupakan gabungan antara teknologi komputer dan teknologi telekomunikasi, sehingga lebih tepat kalau diistilahkan dengan TIK. Contoh dari TIK adalah Pengiriman SMS, MMS, email, dan akses Facebook, aplikasi SIM AKADEMIK, serta saling bertukar file dengan bluetooth dan lain-lain.

Community and Technological Camp (CommTECH) HIGHLIGHT 2013

Following the success of Community and Technological Camp (CommTECH) Highlight 2012, ITS International Office is holding the event once more this year.
CommTECH HIGHLIGHT 2013 is an opportunity for university students, academics, and professionals from all over the world to learn about community and global issues through a variety of fun activities.  It will take place in various places around Surabaya, Indonesia on 26 August – 3 September 2013.

After we got excel, then we got Microsoft Access introduction. How to make a database, entering data, how to make a form, make a report, and so on.
Actually i want to tell you more, but the problem is, in that time i forgot to copy my work to my disk because at that time i didn't have a notebook yet, and i ended up using the computer in the laboratory in my department. So i will give you some works which my friends did. But it's only few things, not all of them.

ITS International Office Essay Competition 2013

ITS International Office Essay Competition 2013 is a place for Students of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) and Employees to write down ideas and dreams as a part of ITS to welcome ASEAN Economic Community 2015. Specially for this year of 2013 the theme of the essay will be "Preparing ITS for Asean Economic Community (AEC) 2015" you can apply your essay until Oct 16th 2013 at ITS International Office. The winner of this competition will get a chance to do study tour to Singapore and for the favorite essay will be given Rp 500.000,-

From my point of view, you don't have to remember all the formulas that are exist in excel you just have to know what's the use of that formula. The important thing of learning excel is, follow the step that are given and sometimes please use help if you can not understand. Think simple, learning by practice, good luck!
